Families Being Involved ~ October

Today was our first Families Being Involved (FBI) workshop!  We had a fun filled morning of pumpkin carving in the MAES cafeteria.  We had about 25 Pre-K families attend...WOW!  I would like to send out a special "thank you" to Jim and Judy Sorge and Dawn and Mark Wudi for donating the pumpkins for our event!  Here are a few pictures from the workshop.

Naomi and her mom worked together to carve their pumpkin.

Dylan and his mom pulling out the pumpkin guts.

Citori put all the seeds in the bag while her mom scooped out the pumpkin.

Ayden's family worked together to draw the face and carve their pumpkin.

Elyn scooped out the insides while Mom and Dad helped.

Sophie and her mom carved an Olaf pumpkin.

Will, his mom and his cousin, Eve, carved scary faces in their pumpkins!

Lily and her mom worked together to draw a face.

Wyatt, his sister and his mom stopped to smile for a picture.
