I can hardly believe it is time to say goodbye to all of my wonderful students! It seems like just yesterday they were coming into the classroom to begin their Pre-K journey. Since the beginning of the year they have learned so many wonderful things including: how to walk in a quiet line down the hallway, how to make a circle to play a game, how to cut with scissors, write their names, check out library books, and follow directions. I am so proud of the numerous accomplishments they have made throughout this year. What a blessing it has been to work with so many wonderful children and so many equally wonderful families who are so supportive of their children. THANK YOU!!
This week entails a lot of cleaning and preparing for the summer. Today the kids helped Ms. Teresa and I get ready for summer by "washing some dishes." We placed water and dish soap in the sensory table and the kids had oodles of fun washing the plastic food and dishes. Don't be fooled parents, they all LOVED washing the dishes and did such a nice job!!! Time to put them to work at home! :)
Ms. Teresa and I also pulled out some fun new toys including a tunnel, a school bus tent and a fire truck tent. The children had such great imaginations as they played! Such a great thing to see turn taking and better yet, hearing all of the giggles and laughter!
I hope that each and every one of you enjoys your summer! My husband and I will be closing on our very first house on June 20th. I am very excited to get that all situated over the summer! I will also be teaching summer school, so hopefully I will see many of you around school! Thanks for such a great year!
